About Georgian Aviation University

The Georgian Aviation University is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Georgia and the Caucasus region. The university is located in Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia.

The university was founded in 1992 under the name of the Georgia Institute of Aviation at Georgia Tech.

In 2005, the Aviation Institute separated from Georgian Technical University and became the Georgian Aviation University, an independent institution. The university attracts a significant number of students, reaching up to 1,000 annually.
